Smart, powerful, and conceptualized with pure aerodynamics at its core: the exciting new flagship of Volkswagen’s ID. family- the ID. Aero- was premiered in China on June 27th. As part of their ACCELERATE strategy, Volkswagen has been working towards releasing a fully-electric model series in hopes of reducing overall carbon emissions and is the sixth member of the ID. family after the models ID.3, ID.4, ID.5 and ID.6 as well as the iconic ID. Buzz. This sleek new concept car uses its efficient modern drive system, powerful lithium-ion battery, and excellent aerodynamic design to achieve a range of up to 385 miles.
This exhilarating new model is projected to be available in China and Europe in late 2023 and set to be available in the US within the next several years.
