Do your homework. 

Think about what type of model is right for your lifestyle and your budget. If you have a family, a crossover or SUV might be best for you. Think about fuel mileage. If you drive a lot, perhaps a sedan is right for you. Or if you are a hardworking person ready to take on any job, a Ford pickup is just right for your tasks. 

Check out the car. 

From the exterior to the interior, take a minute to check it out. Be sure to check for things like scratches or dings on the exterior. On the inside, look at the features. Everything from convenience to safety – you want to know what this vehicle is equipped with. 

Comfort is key. 

When you slip behind the wheel, are you comfortable? Do you fit in the vehicle? Is there enough room for you? The biggest thing, for me, is being comfortable. So, check out everything from the front seats to the back seats. Don’t be afraid to check out the trunk to ensure that you’ll have enough space for those bulky items or gear when you’re ready for an adventure. 

Drive the car. 

We recommend taking the vehicle for a test drive on one of your normal routes. If most of your commute is on a highway, city streets, or back roads – take the vehicle there.
