Earlier this summer, Volkswagen announced its “Strategy 2025,” one of the biggest transformations in the brand’s history. As a reminder, this plan will maintain Volkswagen heritage while pushing ahead and pursuing new technology as well as electric vehicles. They have promised that by 2025, we will see up to 30 new plug-in hybrid or all-electric models added to their lineup.
As Volkswagen moves forward with their plan, they have begun to release details about the new vehicles. Recently, at Michigan’s CAR Management Briefing Seminars, the company revealed that the 30 potential new electric vehicles will be built on three different platforms, one of them will be based on the exciting new BUDD-e concept.
As information continues to be released on Strategy 2025, we will keep you updated right here on the Fiore Volkswagen blog!
