Volkswagen has officially unveiled the all-new T-Prime Concept GTE at Auto China 2016 providing the world with a look at this impressive full-size SUV that offers a look at the direction that the brand is heading in for the future. With all of the upgraded performance, design, and driver-assistance features that this vehicle is equipped with it truly makes quite the statement about what Volkswagen customers can expect going forward.

The T-Prime Concept GTE is equipped with a plug-in hybrid powertrain and an electric motor. The system also includes a 375 horsepower turbocharged gas engine that is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. This system also includes three drive modes, E-Mode, Hybrid, and GTE.

On the exterior, this model has been designed to provide an ideal balance of elegance and sporty feel with thin LED rear lights, a large chrome radiator grille that merges with headlights, a striking roofline, and flared wheel arches.

On the interior, it has been designed with glossy black surfaces wood accents, blue leather surfaces, and cool aluminum to provide customers with the feel of a mobile living space. A few of the noticeable technology upgrades include a 15.0-inch curved home screen and an Active Info Display with a 12.0-inch touch screen.
