Volkswagen Group of America, the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), and MoMA PS1 recently announced that they would be expanding their partnership for two more years which provides lead support for every one of MoMA’s highly respected education programs, major exhibitions, and innovative initiatives.

Since 2011 Volkswagen has been working closely with MoMA and MoMA PS1 to support over 30 exhibitions as well as special events and a variety of educational opportunities. The extended partnership plans to further build on the already strong relationship.

A lot of new emphases will be centered on MoMA education which aims to broaden the Museum’s ability to reach learners throughout the entire world. The expansion and improvement of online and interactive learning since MoMA launched its initial curriculum website in 2006 has enabled MoMA to incorporate a variety of site content that speaks to as well as encourages a multitude of audiences across the globe.

Currently, over 900,000 people from a range of different demographics make use of MoMA’s services ranging from interactive apps to instructor-led online courses, to resources that can be downloaded for free.
