February Sales Rise By Close To 13 Percent For Volkswagen

Sales for Volkswagen of America, Inc. (VWoA) continue to be on the rise as the brand achieves a February sales total of 25,145 units which is 12.7 percent higher than the brand’s total sales for February of 2016.

The vehicles in the Golf lineup were easily the top-sellers of the month achieving a combined total 5,842 units which is 60.3 percent higher than last year. All of the VW Golf vehicles had impressive increases compared to last February, with new February records set by the e-Golf, Golf R and Golf SportWagen.

More December Highlights:

CC sales reached 179 units
Touareg sales reached 238 units
Tiguan sales were up 5.5 percent to reach 3,425 units
Beetle sales were up 53.2 percent to reach 882 units
Beetle Convertible sales were up 34.6 percent to reach 486 units
Jetta sales reached 8,017 units
Golf sales were up 23.3 percent to reach 1,094 units
Golf GTI sales were up 14.1 percent to reach 1,864 units
Golf R sales were up 70.2 percent to reach 497 units
Golf SportWagen sales were up 229.8 percent to reach 2,094 units
e-Golf sales were up 48 percent to reach 293 units
