Volkswagen of America has just unveiled the 2016 Jetta GLI, the Golf GTI’s equivalent sedan. Similarly to the Golf GTI, the GLI also has a 210-horsepower, 2.0L TSI® turbocharged and direct-injection EA888 four-cylinder engine, providing excellent performance.

The 2016 GLI is given an eye-catching new look, headlined by a dynamic honeycomb grille as well as an all new rear bumper design paired with dual chrome-tipped exhausts.

The inside of the GLI is just as functional as the outside with a new MIB 2 Infotainment system that has USB and Car-Net Connectivity capabilities. The SE Sport Model also comes with a push-button start, a sunroof, six-way multi-directional powered driver’s seat, heated seats, a rearview camera, and many other helpful features as well.

The SEL takes it up another notch incorporating blind spot navigation, a navigation system, bi-xenon headlights with the adaptive front-lighting system (AFS), and Homelink®. The AFS system turns as you do to ensure that your path is properly lit.

Standard for all 2016 Jetta GLI models is Volkswagen’s Automatic Post-Collision Braking System which applies the brakes when the airbag sensors detect a collision, helping to reduce damage in all possible areas.
