In a new advertisement, the brand is highlighting the impressive fuel economy rating and fuel tank that can power the vehicle for up to 814 highway miles on a full tank**.

In the spot, we see three boys enter a gas station and proceed to make a complete mess of the store by destroying the snacks, overpumping the slushie and nacho cheese machines and even having a pixi stick fight. We then see that they are left unattended because their mother was busy filling up the car. The commercial then pans to a mother driving her 2015 Passat TDI Clean Diesel while her three boys are buckled in where she can see them. The point of the humorous spot is to emphasize that with less need to stop to refuel there is less of a chance that the kids will be left to their own devices.
