2017 Golf Alltrack Production Model Debuts in U.S.
The U.S. version of the All-Wheel-Drive Golf Alltrack, which is based on the Golf Sportwagen, was announced by Volkswagen of America, Inc. This vehicle, which has the dual-appeal of SUV luxury and car sportiness, has experienced widespread success, and now Volkswagen lovers in the U.S. will get to enjoy it as well.
The Golf Alltrack shares many qualities with the Golf SportWagen including the 1.8-L Four-Cylinder TSI® Engine and Six-Speed DSG® Automatic Transmission. However, its most beloved feature is arguably the 4MOTION® All-Wheel-Drive system. The Golf Alltrack was made to appear more rugged with features like unique bumpers, wheel wells and side sills for off-road protection and a front fascia with foglights and a honeycomb grille. Additional features include a rearview camera, new leatherette seating surfaces, and VW Car-Net® App-Connect. Adventurous drivers will also appreciate the “Off-Road Mode” selection that optimizes traction and control if you opt for the road less traveled.
“We heard from dealers and customers that they wanted to see a Golf SportWagen with the all-terrain capability that comes from an all-wheel drive system,” said Joerg Sommer, Vice President, Product Marketing and Strategy of Volkswagen of America, Inc. “We are excited to introduce the Golf Alltrack to meet the active lifestyle needs of our customers.”
The 2017 Golf Alltrack will go on sale during the Fall as a 2017 model, so be sure to look for it at Fiore Volkswagen when the time comes!

The 2016 Geneva International Motorshow gave Volkswagen the opportunity to showcase two highly anticipated models. VW introduced an exciting concept car, and also the new and improved up! city car.
The newly improved up! will hit the market soon. Updates include the option between two gasoline engines (with an available 66 kW/90 PS unit) plus new dash pads, exterior colors, new seat fabrics, and decorative decal designs. New technology includes smartphone integration and “up! beats,” which is a partnership between Beats Audio™.
The concept car is strongly influenced by the BUDD-e concept which was unveiled at the 2016 CES in Las Vegas in January. It is trendy but affordable with an SUV feel. It raises the bar for Volkswagen’s mobility.
