Volkswagen Teases New Beijing Concept

Volkswagen has released a few teaser images of their newest high-tech vehicle, the Beijing Concept. This new vehicle will be one of the most advanced luxury SUVs in the world with its impressive array of technology, and its sporty and more elegant design that will help to truly elevate the level of quality for this segment.

This new concept will include digital operation and display system, and a merged active info display and infotainment system that will all serve to demonstrate the brand’s further commitment to automobile digitization. The lounge-style interior of the vehicle will allow for much more of the emphasis of the digitized operation to be focused on the passengers.

The Beijing Concept is powered by a plug-in-hybrid powertrain that generates 376 horsepower and 516 pounds-feet of torque. This model also offers a fully electric range of up to 31 miles, a combined fuel consumption of 79 mpg, an acceleration of 0-62 mph in just 6 seconds, and a top speed of 139 mph.
