Four Volkswagen Vehicles Earn IIHS Top Safety Pick + Rating

Highway Safety (IIHS). This is the highest safety rating that the IIHS can presented to any new vehicle following their assessment of every available new vehicle in the market. In order to earn this rating, all four vehicles must first earn a “good” rating in each of the five IIHS crash tests, including the small overlap front, moderate overlap front, side, roof strength, and head restraint. They must then each offer a front crash prevention system that receives an “advanced” or “superior” rating from the IIHS.
