July Sales For Volkswagen Have Been Announced

A total of 31,300 units were delivered by Volkswagen of America, Inc. (VWoA) within the U.S. throughout July 2015. Overall, the brand’s sales for the month rose by 2.4 percent when compared to the 30,553 units that VW sold during July of 2015.

“We are encouraged by the consistent sales growth for the Golf across all models within the family. The latest Guinness World Records achievement for the Golf TDI adds to the suite of accolades which also includes the 2015 North American Car of the Year and Motor Trend Car of the Year,” said Mark McNabb, chief operating officer, Volkswagen of America.

VW July Sales:

• Sales of the Golf increased by 163 percent with 1,890 units
• Sales of the Golf GTI increased by 3.2 percent with 1,780 units
• Sales of the Golf SportWagen reached 2,602 units
• Sales of the Jetta Sedan increased by 4.2 percent with 11,467 units
• Sales of the Passat reached 6,904 units
• Sales of the Tiguan increased by 13.5 percent with 2,407 units
• Sales of the Touareg increased by 16.4 percent with 676 units
• Sales of the Beetle Coupe reached 1,274 units
• Sales of the Beetle Convertible reached 1,035 units
